Where Real Spiritual Experience Is Found (w/ Reformed Pastor Clips)
February 25, 2026
Summary
What if your morning changed because you remembered where you are right now in Christ? You are not just forgiven, you are united to the risen Jesus and, in Him, your life is already secure and hopeful. In this episode, Jon Moffitt is joined by Daniel, also known as reformedpastorclips, to unpack union with Christ and why it is the heart of the gospel. You will hear how this doctrine reshapes assurance, sanctification, and even the pull toward Rome or Eastern Orthodoxy by offering real transcendence without trading Christ for rituals. If reading the Bible feels confusing or heavy, this conversation helps you see Scripture as a guide that leads you to Jesus and fills your joy.

In some sort of amazing sense, you are already glorified.
Why?
Well, because Christ has risen from the dead.
Christ has received the glorified resurrection body.
He's ascended into heaven.
He's sat down at the right hand of the Father on high, and that's where you are.
Wouldn't that change the way we think about ourselves on a Monday morning?
Most Christians that I meet, they're not reading their Bibles because they're not interested in it or in Jesus.
It's frustrating.
It's confusing.
We often get lost.
I myself have felt that for many years.
The Bible, according to Jesus, was written to help people understand the point of the Bible, which we're not hiding.
It's about Jesus, how to understand the Old Testament law and the covenants and the promises and the prophecies.
Hopefully, this is helpful for you and will encourage you to read your Bible more.
