The Bible According to Jesus
How Jesus Teaches Us to Read the Scriptures
The Bible is not primarily about you... and that is very good news.
What’s Inside
Learn to read the Bible the way
Jesus said it should be read
This book invites you to read the Bible the way Jesus said it should be read: as one unified story centered on His person, work, and promises — not on your performance.
Jon Moffitt helps you lay down the burden of using Scripture as a rulebook or self-improvement manual and recover it as a revelation of Christ for weary sinners. You will learn to distinguish Law and Gospel, trace the covenantal storyline of redemption, and see how every passage fits into what God has done and will do in His Son.
