NOT Sinning Is NOT the Purpose of Your Life
June 21, 2023
Summary
If you listen to many in the church today, you would think that the purpose of the Christian life is abstinence from sin. Is that really it? Jon and Justin talk about what we are called to in the Christian life. Because of what Jesus has done, because we have rest, because we have been filled, we now go and serve and love. What does it mean to live as an ambassador of the kingdom of Christ? Why is it that we should seek to be spent for the cause of Christ?

Hi, this is John.
We need you to stop sinning.
But for a reason, well, we're going to give that to you, and that's the whole point of the podcast today.
There's more to life than just not sinning.
And it is a great conversation.
Because to be frank, it's hard, this war against the flesh and not sinning, if it's just because, that's a hard battle to win.
But if you have something that is far more beautiful and significant.
And you have a reason to fight and wake up every day to do that.
And that's what this podcast is about.
And in SR, which we don't mention always, but I will this time.
It gets fun and lively.
And we even talk about an old hen called Stand Up for Jesus.
It's fun.
We hope you enjoy.
